Limestone

Because of the stone's natural beauty and warm colors, there is a trend toward limestone. Limestone is a sedimentary rock with characteristics similar to marble. The stone is relatively soft and possesses very uniform composition, texture and structure. Limestone is ordinarily white but may be colored by impurities making it brown, yellow, red, blue, black or gray. The stone is porous and requires a fair degree of care.
