Quartz

If you desire a very hard stone with a more uniform pattern than granite, quartz is an excellent choice. Quartz is a crystalline stone found in igneous, metamorphic and sedimentary rocks. Quartz is often colored by impurities which create amazing hues of white, pink, red, yellow, blue, green, black or purple. Due to its non-porous nature, quartz is extremely stain-resistent.
